Paul Britton joined the firm in 1986 and has been a professional planner since 1979. Paul has been recognized with a Provincial Outstanding Planning Award from the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), and two OPPI District-Level Awards of Professional Merit.
Paul has both municipal and consulting experience relating to numerous aspects of community planning including residential, commercial and industrial planning and development, adaptive re-use of industrial/heritage structures, preparation of development charges by-laws and studies, as well as review and input into provincial policy and land use legislation.
Paul is a former President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Home Builders’ Association and has actively participated as a member of the Land Development Committee of the Home Builders’ Association as well as several Municipal Committees.
Paul received his Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Urban and Regional Planning) from the University of Waterloo in 1979. Paul is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner.
