Jamie has worked as a planning consultant for public and private sector clients for sixteen years. His experience ranges from the preparation of official plans, zoning by-laws, and development charge studies to the submission of development applications including plans of subdivision, condominiums, consents, and minor variances. He is familiar with the latest mapping tools available to planners and is capable of viewing planning issues from both a planning and technical perspective. Jamie has also provided expert witness testimony to the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal on a variety of urban, rural and shoreline issues.
In working on behalf of municipalities and the Chippewa's of Rama First Nation, Jamie has reviewed various types of development applications and provided strategic direction to Municipal Councils.
Jamie received a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner.
