PARK REVITALIZATION

2006

N/A

The revitalization of Oakdale Park bridge and trail included the replacement of an aged wooden pedestrian bridge and the stabilization of the existing creek bank.  This project also involved the replacement of the existing asphalt trail that runs through the park.

MHBC worked directly with Conservation Halton to obtain permits and coordinated with Waters Edge regarding fluvial matters, ensuring that both the creek bank and water levels were monitored.  The end result was the creation of a user friendly path and crossing which incorporates a newly re-naturalized area.
