Kory Chisholm joined MHBC in 2016 and provides advice to private and public sector clients on a variety of land use planning issues. He assists in the research and planning analysis for the preparation of applications and reports for development approvals. Kory’s past experience includes working as a municipal planner where he reviewed various applications concerning the Official Plan, Zoning By-law, Plans of Subdivision, Site Plans, Consents and Minor Variances.
Kory’s graduate work, completed in Hamburg, Germany, focused on analyzing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) certification system, specifically how it would apply in practice to a downtown brown field redevelopment project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kory received his Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours) in Planning from the University of Waterloo in 2012 and received his Master’s of Science in Resource Efficiency in Architecture and Planning from HafenCity University in 2016.
