Jen Grove joined MHBC in 2018. She works on urban design and planning analysis and provides a range services to public and private sector clients including preparation of design guidelines, policy reviews and analyses, obtaining development approvals (Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, Consents, Minor Variances, and Subdivisions), and project co-ordination and management. Drawing on experience in the fields of urban design, land use planning, architecture and community engagement, Jen takes a multi-disciplinary approach to her work.
Prior to joining MHBC, Jen worked in London, England for a local borough assessing development applications for their urban design, architectural and heritage conservation merit. She also worked in the private sector in Ottawa on several masterplans.
Jen received her Master of Planning degree from Queen’s University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning in 2013 with a focus in land use planning, community design and real estate. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Architectural Design from the University of Toronto in 2011.
