The By-law also consolidated more than 200 zone exceptions that have occured since the Townships previous Zoning By-law came into effect in 1991. The Zoning By-law Review contained a detailed public engagement strategy that included a survey, consultation with Commuinity Associations, Public Open Houses in both the Township and in Toronto as well as Public Meetings. Attendance at the meetings ranged from 50-100 people. The Zoning By-law was unanimously passed by council in November 2014.
